Nothing is more frustrating than needing to clean your craft table when your creative juices are flowing! Looking for the perfect scrapbook paper in a heap of fabric, vinyl, paint, and beads can be maddening.
It may feel like finding the time to work on that project you have been itching to try is hard enough, so when the time is right you don’t want to waste it organizing and searching for what you need. Get your crafting area arranged just right before the creative mood strikes.
Consider these storage tips when organizing your crafts:
- Wrap your ribbon around cardboard cutouts. Instead of throwing out that old shoebox, reuse it! Using a box cutter, carefully cut a 3-inch by 5-inch rectangle to wind your ribbon
- Store your beads and buttons in 3-ounce mason jars. The tight-fitting lid on mason jars makes spills less likely! Separate the beads by size or color.
- Repurposing soup cans can be very helpful for organizing colored pencils, markers, and crayons. Placing rice or sand at the bottom of the can helps prevent crayons from sinking to the bottom.
